Our dietary principles are…
  • Provide a balanced combination of macronutrients, with ratios that vary naturally from day to day
    (Minimum 10% protein, Maximum 30% fats)
  • Choose the most commonly available foods with the highest micronutrient densities
  • Keep expensive and exclusive ‘superfood’ ingredients (chia, maca, spirulina etc) optional, and not necessary
  • Avoid meals that require long and complicated preparations
  • Allow for creativity and flexibility to suit individual needs

Signing up for a Plant-based Plan membership will give you access to three meal plans: a meal plan for this week and the previous and following meal plans. This means all meal plans will be up on the site for three weeks, so you can get the most out of them. A new meal plan is released every weekend on Sunday evening.

Membership also gives you access to our steadily growing Recipe Database. All the new recipes that appear in the meal plans are added to this database and can be accessed and printed at any time.

We also provide a number of educational supplements and guides with topics such as: How to Use the Meal Plans, Everyday Nutrition Essentials and Calories, Macros and Energy…   More quality supplements and guides will be added over time.

The Philosophy

The standard western diet of meat, dairy and processed junk food is making us sick and tired. Transitioning to a plant-based diet can transform your health, energise your body, and unlock your physical and mental potential.

Our broken diets and lifestyles are not only responsible for the huge prevalence of heart disease, cancers, obesity, strokes and diabetes, but animal agriculture is the leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, habitat destruction, species extinction, ocean dead-zones and water pollution.

Beyond the effects on our health and the environment, as thinking, feeling beings we must also take into consideration the moral implications of raising animals in disgusting conditions, torturing them for their entire lives, then violently killing them.

To eat well, you must eat consciously. You need to know what you’re eating and why.

And that’s where Plant-based Plan comes in.

We strive to find a balance between variety, simplicity and affordability. Our meal plans, combined with the recipe database and the high quality content of our blog allow you to build a foundation of knowledge that will allow you make informed decisions about the food you eat, and to cook up something nutritious and delicious with minimal ingredients, at short notice.

We see these plans more like a course of education that you can follow until you feel confident enough to go it alone.

Plant-based plan is also about giving back. According to Unicef almost 1/2 of the developing world’s population – 2.5 billion poeple – lack improved sanitation facilities, and over 884 million people still use unsafe drinking water. On top of that, our environment is under horrendous pressure because of our exploitation of natural resources and reliance on animal agriculture. 25% of your membership fees go to charities that help the most desperate and helpless people and attempt to redress the damage were doing to the world around us.
